Initial Customer Meeting
During your first meeting with the customer, take the opportunity to dive into how we operate and the array of services we offer, as detailed in our pre-list document. Create a personalized quote and walk them through the various payment options available, ensuring clarity and confidence every step of the way.
STEP 3
Create the campaign
Let's pick a day to capture those stunning photos and create an immersive VR tour! We're here to guide you through sprucing up the house with some handy tips from our manuals. Once you've got those picture-perfect shots, pop them into the FiSBO web app and edit your VR tour. Set aside about 3 hours for this creative process, including scripting. After that, give our support office a heads-up that you're all set to shine online and schedule those open house moments. Our team will do a quick quality check before we showcase your listing on Trade Me, ensuring everything looks top-notch!
STEP 4
Design Time
Dive into creativity with our FiSBO Canva account! Here, you can effortlessly tap into a world of brand templates, crafting your brochures and signs with a personal touch. Ready to elevate your property's appeal? It's incredibly easy and fun to do!

Viewing Management

STEP 7
The Property Selling Process
At the exciting moment of engagement, you'll get to share how our innovative system springs into action, then gracefully step back as buyers and sellers dive into negotiations directly through the FiSBO web app. It's like an online auction but cooler. The moment a bid lands, our app lights up with interest, showcasing the bid for all to see in the public listing. And if a bidding war kicks off? Buyers can outdo each other in real-time. It's transparent, it's thrilling, and it puts everyone in the driver's seat.
On the sellers approval the succesful buyers bid is sent to each parties solicitor to draft the agreement and keep them legally safe.
STEP 8
The contract
Once the buyer's bid is approved each parties legal team gets into action to provide the sales and purchase agreement and ensure the conditions are met along with any other legal requirement for the sale to take place.
Once they advise the contract is unconditional the SOLD sticker can be put on the property!
STEP 9
No Commission On Sale
As we are a marketing services company you are paid for the service you provide and are paid by the client for these no matter the outcome.
We believe that a lower prepaid service is better for the seller and the person doing the work.
A franchise partner in their first year should be able to get 2 listings per month and a gross turnover of $100k+GST

What does it cost to own a FiSBO Franchise?
Initial Purchase
The initial purchase price will cover of set up and training expenses and ranges from $25,000 depending on the size, potential and location of the franchise territory on a "Non Exlusive" basis.
For example, a large geographic area like the Ruapehu district may be $25,000 whereas an area like Manurewa in Auckland might be $40,000 or more.
Payment options can be either outright purchase or monthly contributions on top of the royalty fees.
Whereas "Exclusive territories" will need consideration prior to a price being set.
You will also need to allow $3000+GST for legal fees paid to set up and prepare your franchise agreement.
All costs will be set out in the pre-disclosure documents.
Royalty Payment
Our royalty payment is a set monthly fee that covers all the business systems and software you need to run the business as follows:
- FiSBO web app for 5 openhomers
- 2 email addresses for the directors
- HDR photography software
- Virtual Tour Software & Hardware
- Your website at fisbo.co.nz/yourfranchise
- Dedicated one to one support from the support office
- Database management
- On-going training
For "non-exclusive" territories the royalty is $2000+GST per month
For "exclusive" territories the royalty is $4000+GST per month
One of listing fee
Every listing has a base fee which includes a standard TradeMe listing. The fee is zone based as per our supply agreement with Trade Me.
All zones are listed in the pre list documents and will be disclosed in the pre-disclosure document.
National Marketing Levy
All franchise partners pay the same monthly national franchise levy of $500+GST . This is paid and used to market the brand nationally and you all benefit from the network effect. Support office splits this over social ads, google ads, and soon TV and radio as we expand the group.
Franchise partners can do local advertising with approval of support office to ensure the creative stays on brand and message.
Any rebates support office gets from national and approved suppliers is paid into the national marketing fund to benefit the group.
How much money could you make?
You will sell our marketing services in line with our franchise manuals to property sellers in these markets:
- Residential
- Lifestyle
- Rural
- Commercial
With the campaigns ranging in cost to sellers from :
- DiY Pro $2499
- Full Service Residential $5799
- Full Service Lifestyle $7999
- Full Service Rural from $9999
- Full Service Commercial from $9999
- Month 2 service retainer from $1500
- Month 3 service retainer from $1250
Apart from a one off listing charge which is zone based and signage costs all other revenue stays with you. Other services can be sold to improve your profit if approved by support office.
Your minimum first year target will be 20 full service customers in these four markets.

How much time is needed?
When you get a lead allow the following:
- An hour for the prelist appointment
- 3 hours to set up the campaign
- 6 hours of open homes and viewings in the first 30 days.
So thats 10 hours for the first 30 days of the full service campaign.
The rest of your time is networking, having coffee meetings or making cool social posts to drive inbound leads.
Most sellers that engage us typically list, with our average strike rate sitting at 87% conversion
